ZZ plants can survive near darkness with water only once a month. Low-light simply means that a plant can thrive and be happy in less natural sunshine the way other plants cannot! However, this does mean less water because the soil will not dry out as quickly. ZZ plants are also a highly efficient plant at phytoremediation — the process of filtering toxins out of the air!
