Beswick wears many hats in the film industry, from visual effects artist to animation supervisor. The same is true for the Star Wars franchise, as Beswick served as a makeup artist for A New Hope before putting his talents to work as a stop motion technician for The Empire Strikes Back, where he helped craft the mechanical joints for the scale models of the AT-ATs.
